Pot Roast Recipe

Pot roast is one of my families favorite meals when the weather gets colder. There are several ways to make it but we love using Costco Tri-Tip! Not only is it affordable but it is so tender when cooked!

This recipe is really easy…. I mean it!

Here it what you will need:

Cooking utensils:

  • Crockpot

  • Tongs

  • Mixing Spoon

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tri-tip (We use the Costco size)

  • 1 small yellow onion cubed

  • 2 tbsp of garlic

  • 1 packet of French Onion Dip seasoning

  • 1 half packet of gravy seasoning

  • 4oz of tomato paste

  • 1/4 cup or worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • a handful of baby carrots

  • 1 potato cut in to large chunks

  • 6-8 mushrooms cut in half

Directions:

  1. Place tri-tip in the crockpot with ALL of the listed ingredients

  2. Set crockpot to high for 6 hours or until tai-tip is completely shredded (crockpot times may vary)

  3. Occasionally baste tiptop with sauce

  4. Serve over mashed potatoes or white rice!

  5. Enjoy!
